Matthew is currently Chairman of the Board of Chinook Energy Inc. and a director of Storm Resources Ltd. Previously he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Chinook Energy Inc. and also that of its predecessor Storm Ventures International Inc. As the past President and Chief Executive Officer of four junior oil and gas producers that were profitably grown and sold over the last twenty years, he has gained valuable oil, gas, and heavy oil experience in Western Canada, North Africa and the North Sea. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Calgary and is a registered Professional Geologist in the Province of Alberta.
Kevin is the Co-Chief Executive Officer and a Director of ARC Financial Corp. ("ARC"). He joined ARC when it was founded in 1989, accumulating over 20 years of energy related finance, investment research, corporate strategy and direct investment experience. Previously, he worked for the Canadian Energy Research Institute where he was extensively involved in the economic analysis of global and North American energy markets. Kevin currently serves on the boards of Unconventional Gas Resources and Seven Generations Energy Ltd. and is Chair of the United Way Special Gifts Advisory Committee. He is a Professional Engineer and holds an M.A. in Economics and a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta.
Rob is a Senior Vice-President and Director of ARC Financial Corp. ("ARC") and is focused on new deal origination, structuring and execution, and portfolio monitoring in the exploration and production business. Prior to joining ARC in 2000, Rob spent 12 years with Shell as a staff reservoir engineer with assignments in Canada, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Rob currently serves on the boards of Cequence Energy Ltd. and Chinook Energy Inc. and is also a member of the Alberta Financial Services Steering Committee Representing Calgary Economic Development. He is a CFA Charterholder, Professional Engineer and also holds an M.B.A from European University Business School and a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and Management from McMaster University.

Mark is a Partner at Energy Spectrum Capital ("ESC") and joined the firm in 2004. His responsibilities include business development, evaluating potential investments, deal execution and the ongoing monitoring and oversight of portfolio companies. Prior to joining ESC, Mark worked in the restructuring practice of FTI Consulting, Inc. (formerly PricewaterhouseCoopers' Business Recovery division), at Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin as well as Price Waterhouse. Mark received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Trinity University.
Zvi joined the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan in 2008 and is currently a Portfolio Manager in the Energy Group at Teachers' Private Capital. Prior to joining Teachers', Zvi worked in investment banking at a global investment bank in New York and Toronto. During his career he has focused on direct investing, M&A advisory and corporate finance in the energy and power sectors. He currently serves on the Boards of BluEarth Renewables, Canbriam Energy and Aspenleaf Energy. Zvi holds an Honours Business Administration degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and is a CFA Charterholder.
Tom is the President and a Founding Partner of Energy Spectrum Capital ("ESC") and leads the firm's midstream private equity business. He has over 35 years of experience in financing and advising companies as well as managing private equity investments in the energy industry. Prior to ESC, Tom served as a Managing Director at R. Reid Investments Inc. and as a Senior Vice President of Dean Witter Reynolds' Energy Corporate Finance Group. Tom received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with highest honors and his Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
